Surah Yaseen was revealed in mecca, therefore it is called a Makki surah, it only has 83 verses, and it’s the surah number 36 in the Quran. The Almighty said: {So exalted is He in whose hand is the realm of all things} (interpretation of the meaning)(Surah Yasin: 83) a reference to monotheism.
